For Seattle-area businesses, immigration reform is more than a political football to be thrown around before elections; it’s a issue with serious implications for them.
Tech companies from around the Puget Sound area came together early Friday morning to discuss immigration reform at an event in South Lake Union hosted by the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.
The event featured a keynote address by Alejandro Mayorkas, the director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, as well as a panel of representatives from some of the area’s tech companies.
