The Contributions of New Americans in Wyoming
Date: August 3, 2016
While only 4 percent of Wyoming’s residents are foreign-born, the state’s immigrant population has been rapidly increasing in recent decades. In 1990, Wyoming was home to fewer than 8,000 immigrants — a group that made up a mere 1.7 percent of the state’s population. By 2010, that figure had risen to 2.9 percent. It had climbed to 4.0 percent by 2014.
