Business forum discusses bringing international talent to Louisville
Date: May 26, 2015
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Welcoming people from other countries and encouraging them to get involved in the local business scene was the goal of a forum today at the Seelbach Hilton.
Greater Louisville Inc. and several other groups talked about how the city can attract economic talent from around the world.
“An overall economic strategy has to be inclusive of everyone,” Dan Wallace, with the Partnership for a New American Economy, said. “Not just people who were born here, but people who come from other parts of the country and other parts of the world.”
The groups also want to work with immigrants who are already here–helping them start small businesses and begin the path to citizenship if they choose.
